Dia pergi ke kamar pengantin dan pura-pura menjadi pengantin pria, sementara suaminya yang sebenarnya tertidur.
Media lokal melaporkan surat perintah penangkapan Chanseng menunjukkan, dia telah dikenai tuduhan pemerkosaan dengan pasal 239 KUHP Kamboja.

Dia akan dihukum 5-10 tahun penjara jika terbukti bersalah.
Kepala Polisi provinsi Prey veng, Pov Chyvy mengatakan, menurut interogasi, pelaku telah lama mencintai perempuan itu.
Namun, keluarganya miskin dan tidak berani melamar.
“Pada hari pernikahan korban, dia terus menatap pasangan baru itu hampir setiap menit karena rumahnya bersebelahan dengan rumah pengantin wanita,” katanya.
Sementara itu Kepala polisi distrik Kanh Chriech, Sao Chantha mengatakan, tersangka pertama kali mengklaim dirinya telah memperkosa pengantin wanita tiga kali, tapi kemudian mengubah ceritanya mengatakan hanya sekali.
Kepala desa Chhkues, Leat Chheat mengetakan, mertuanya, tak lagi menerima dia sebagai istri anak mereka dan menginkan agar pernikahan dibatalkan.
Menurutnya, keluarga juga meninginkan mas kawinnya yang senilai 1 ribu Pound sterling atau sekitar Rp 18 juta dikembalikan.
