Dr Ramachandran menambahkan, pria yang sudah berusia lanjut itu sebelumnya juga sempat dioperasi di tahun 2014 sebanyak empat kali.
“Ia juga pernah dirawat di rumah sakit di awal tahun 2014, dengan gejala obstruksi usus akut,” kata dia.
Pasca operasi, kondisi pria itu pun kembali stabil dan perlahan
membaik. Sementara emas batangan itu telah disita polisi karena diduga
barang penyelundupan pasca kenaikan bea cukai impor logam.
