Sebelumnya, viral video tiga polisi terbakar saat amankan demo mahasiswa Cianjur pada Kamis (15/8/2019) siang.
Tepatnya pada pukul 13.00 WIB hari ini, tiga polisi benar dilaporkan terbakar saat aksi tersebut.
Demo yang sudah direncanakan sejak 12 Agustus lalu ini dilakukan untuk menyuarakan sejumlah aspirasi berkaitan dengan evaluasi adanya pengangguran atau sedikitnya kapangan pekerjaan, serta pendidikan di Kabupaten Cianjur.
Insiden tiga polisi terbakar diketahui terjadi di Pendopo Kabupaten Cianjur saat demo berlangsung.
Kepala Bidang Humas Polda Jabar, Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko pun membenarkan kabar tersebut.
“Ada tragedi terbakarnya personel Polri khususnya di Polres Cianjur, satu anggota polsek dari Polres Kota Cianjur, dua personel lagi anggota Sat Sabhara yang ada di Polres Cianjur,” jelas Truno, di Mapolrestabes Bandung, Kamis sore, seperti dilansir Kompas.com.
Gerombolan mahasiswa Cianjur melakukan unjuk rasa untuk menyuarakan sejumlah aspirasi berkaitan dengan evaluasi adanya pengangguran atau sedikitnya kapangan pekerjaan, serta pendidikan di Kabupaten Cianjur.
Namun, saat melakukan aksi, mereka tak berhasil menemui pimpinan daerah yang dimaksud.
Dilansir Kompas.com, para pengunjuk rasa pun melakukan aksi bakar ban sekaligus menutup arus lalu lintas di Jalan Siliwangi.
“Sebelum pembakaran itu, dilakukan aksi penutupan jalan dulu tepatnya di Jalan Siliwangi depan Pemda Kabupaten Cianjur.”
“Sehingga terjadi kemacetan atau tidak tertib, kemudian dilanjutkan pembakaran ban,” jelas Kepala Bidang Humas Polda Jabar, Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, Kamis (15/8/2019) sore.
Aiptu Erwin, anggota kepolisian yang saat itu tengah mengawal jalannya aksi unjuk rasa, berusaha memadamkan ban terbakar.
Namun, ada oknum melemparkan bahan bakar minyak dari arah belakang sehingga api menyambar tubuh Erwin.
“Pada saat pemadaman ada satu oknum dari 50 orang tadi ini menyiram yang bersangkutan dengan bahan bakar minyak sehingga kondisi Aiptu Erwin terbakar,” terang Truno.

Dua anggota lain, Bripda Yudi Muslim dan Bripda FA Simbolon, juga ikut terbakar saat berusaha menyelamatkan Erwin.
“Mereka berdua ini ingin menyelamatkan rekannya dengan memadamkan.”
“Namun ikut terbakar kemudian mengalami luka bakar,” ujar Truno.
Aiptu Erwin merupakan anggota babinkamtibmas Kelurahan Bojong Herang Polres Kota Cianjur.
Sementara Bripda Yudi Muslim dan Bripda FA Simbolon merupakan anggota Sabhara Polres Cianjur.
Setelah kejadian tersebut sebanyak 15 mahasiswa diamankan.
Terdapat oknum yang melemparkan bahan bakar minyak ke arah Aiptu Erwin yang saat itu tengah berupaya memadamkan ban terbakar.
Mengutip dari Kompas.com, Truno menyebutkan korlap yang berinisial MF sebelumnya telah bersedia menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban.
Namun, beberapa oknum justru melakukan kerusuhan sehingga menyebabkan tiga polisi terbakar.
“Sebagaimana dalam pernyataanya pada tanggal 12 Agustus, korlap dalam hal ini MF bersedia menjaga kemanan dan ketertiban.”
“Namun, saat ini yang bersangkutan dilakukan proses pemeriksaan terkait dengan adanya tragedi kejadian tersebut,” tutur Truno, di Mapolrestabes Bandung, Kamis.
Sembari menunggu pemeriksaan dari pihak kepolisian, video penyiraman polisi pun beredar.
Beredar pula potret tangkap layar, tangan yang menyiramkan bensin ke arah kelompok polisi yang berusaha memadamkan api di ban.
Potret tersebut diunggah oleh akun @ndorobeii pada Kamis (15/8/2019) malam.
Meski akun @ndorobeii telah membagikan wajah yang diduga pelaku penyiraman bensin tersebut, pihak kepolisian belum memberikan klarifikasi terkait hal tersebut.

Tiga anggota polisi yang menjadi korban terbakar dalam aksi demo mahasiswa Cianjur pada Kamis (15/8/2019) kini tengah mendapat perawatan medis.
Tim dokter Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Sartika Asih dan Tim Dokter Kesehatan Polda jabar diturunkan untuk memberikan perawatan terhadap Aiptu Erwin, Bripda Yudi Muslim, dan Bripda FA Simbolon.
“Tim medis khususnya dari Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Sartika Asih Polda Jabar, dan tim dari kedokteran kesehatan Polda Jabar sudah turun,” ujar Kepala Bidang Humas Polda Jabar, Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, di Mapolrestabes Bandung, Kamis (15/8/2019), seperti dilansir Kompas.com.
Mengutip Tribun Jabar, dari ketiga korban tersebut, Aiptu Erwin menderita luka bakar paling parah hingga 80 persen.
Karena itu Erwin dirujuk ke Rumah Sakit Polri Kramat Jakarta.
“Luka bakarnya hampir 80 persen. Sekujur badannya luka, karenanya saat ini juga langsung kita rujuk ke Kramat Jati (RS Polri),” ujar Direktur RSUD Sayang Cianjur, Ratu Tri Yulia.
