Seorang nenek bernama Sogirah menjadi inspirasi bagi banyak orang lantaran baru saja diwisuda saat usianya menginjak 74 tahun.
Nenek Sogirah yang berusia 74 tahun asal Bantul, Yogyakarta akhirnya resmi diwisuda setelah mengikuti program pendidikan.
Meskipun sudah menjadi seorang lansia, nenek Sogirah masih semangat belajar dan akhirnya wisuda diumur 74 tahun.

Dikisahkan bahwa Sogirah merupakan salah satu siswi di Program Elderly School yang diwisuda belum lama ini.
Program Elderly School merupakan sekolah lansia yang diselenggarakan oleh Indonesia Ramah Lansia (IRL).
Sekolah lansia yang diadakan IRL itu menggelar wisuda yang turut dihadiri delegasi dunia, pada Selasa (23/7/2019).
Pasalnya, dalam acara pengukuhan 40 wisudawan-wisuda wati lansia itu turut dihadiri oleh penasihat IRL, Prof. Tri Budi W Rahardjo.
Tak hanya itu, prosesi wisuda juga tampak disaksikan langsung oleh sejumlah delegasi lembaga pemerhati lansia tingkat dunia.
Terlihat Prof. Karthryn Braun yang merupakan Presiden Of Active Aging Consortium In Asia Pasifik (ACAP) dari Amerika dan Prof. Takeo Ogawa, Presiden of Asian Aging Bussiness Center (AABC) dari Jepang menghadiri acara wisuda siang itu.

Beberapa Delegasi ASEAN pemerhati Lansia yang tampak hadir di acara wisuda pada Selasa, (23/7/2019).

Bahkan, mereka terlibat ikut memindahkan tali toga para lansia peserta wisuda.
Menurut Direktur IRL, Dwi Endah MPH, para aktivis pemerhati tingkat dunia datang lantaran ingin melihat wisuda sekolah lansia yang ada di Indonesia.
“Mereka tertarik. Karena memang di negara meraka belum banyak bahkan belum ada. Makanya ingin melihat yang ada di Indonesia. Sekolah Lansia berbasis masyarakat,” terang Dwi Endah MPH kepada Tribun Jogja, pada Selasa (23/7/2019).
Dalam acara wisuda tersebut, Sogirah menjadi salah satu dari 39 peserta lansia yang mengaku berbahagia lantaran diwisuda.
Ia tampak antusias mengenakan busana toga yang lengkap dengan topi khas peserta wisuda.
Pelaksanaan wisuda puluhan lansia itu dilakukan di Padukuhan Karet, Desa Pleret, Kecamatan Pleret, Bantul, pada Selasa (23/7/2019).

Meski telah berumur senja, Sogirah mengaku semangat untuk menjalankan program sekolah selama 1 tahun itu.
Pasalnya, ia banyak mendapatkan ilmu seperti tentang spiritual, sosial, kebencanaan, dan kesehatan.
Ia pun mengaku bahwa program pembelajaran para lansia itu dilakukan setiap sebulan sekali.
“Sinaune sewulan sepindah. Saben tanggal sekawan. (Belajarnya sebulan sekali, setiap tanggal empat),” ucap Sogirah.
Sogirah juga mengaku semangat untuk datang ke sekolah karena memiliki banyak teman.
“Kula remen nderek sekolah ten mriki, katah rencange. (Saya senang ikut sekolah di sini, banyak temannya),” imbuh Sogirah.
Dalam acara wisuda para lansia tersebut, satu persatu wisudawan-wisudawati dipanggil untuk masuk ke pendopo.
Beberapa peserta wisuda yang masuk ke pendopo tampak memerlukan alat bantu atau memegang tiang pendopo untuk membantunya berjalan.
Meski begitu, rona bahagia tampak terlihat di raut wajah mereka, termasuk Sogirah yang tersenyum bahagia memperlihatkan ijazah miliknya.
Kebahagiaan Sogirah juga dirasaakan Watini Aryanti, peserta wisuda lainnya yang mengaku program belajar yang dilakukannya itu sangat berguna.
Pasalnya, para lansia diajarkan untuk menerapkan pola hidup sehat dan makan yang benar, sehingga bisa aktif, sehat, dan produktif.
“Bisa bahagia dan terus berkarya,” ucap Watini.
Melansir dari laman pleret.bantulkab.go.id, jumlah peserta wisuda yang sebenarnya adalah sebanyak 46 lansia.
46 lansia yang menjadi peserta wisuda terdiri dari satu laki-laki dan 45 perempuan.
Turut hadir perwakitaln pemerhati lansia dari 10 negara ASEAN yang diwakili Prof. Kathryn L. Braun, Prof. Takeo Ogawa, Prof. Tri Budi Wiraharjo, Prof. Eef Hagervorst, Prof. Kaysorn Sumpowthong, Dong Hee Han, Ph. D, Ashish Groel, MD, MPH, Chadrakala Diyali, Ph. D, Thelma Kay dan Teresa Tsien, MSW, MPH.
Penyerahan sertifikat dan pemindahan tali topi toga dilakukan langsung oleh Presiden Direktur Lansia ASEAN.
